In the name of Allah the Compassionate and Merciful, an academic task of international journal manuscript writing training has been carried out through cooperation between the Perbanas Institute Jakarta and Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). It is noteworthy that at this time the profession of lecturer has been facing a higher challenge. Lecturers now are required to conduct research and submit paper whether on the nationally-unaccredited journals, nationally-accredited journals or internationally-indexed journals. Of course, this is not necessarily an easy task. Thus, the such training is needed in order their paper can be succesfully accepted by Scopus-indexed international journals.

For a lecturer, an international journal writing has been a requirement to take care levels and to achieve higher position. Similarly, the quality of a higher education increasingly measured by the ability to produce a number of publications in international journals. It is therefore a necessary for conducting writing training of international publications. Hence, Perbanas Institute in collaboration with Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) held a training to write international journal manuscripts on December, 15-18, 2015. The presenters were Prof. Surya Ruswiyati Saputra  and Associate Prof. Dr. Nurwati Ashikin Ahmad Zaluki. The training was held in 2 places of the Hotel Santika Cirebon and of Griya Perbanas Jakarta which attended by 20 lecturers with a concentration in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Accounting and Human Resource Management.

The purpose of training was mainly to facilitate the lecturers in generating a qualified manuscripts submitted to the international journals. The workshop materials included selecting and writing abstract and title, introduction, literature review, methodology, result, conclusion, referencing and citations guide, as well as small group discussions and presentation.

Hopefully, a such training of writing training of journal manuscript could be implemented again in future periods, since there are many lecturers who do not get the chance. Actually, in the implementation of the training, P3M feel there are still shortcomings, due to the implementation of very abrupt. Finally, we however have to thanks to God and the participants for organizing the training according to the plan.
